Jonathan I. Poyer serves as Director of Case Management for Detox California, bringing experience in direct client support, program leadership, and behavioral healthcare operations. Since entering the mental health and substance use treatment field in 2018, he has developed a strong understanding of the practical support clients need throughout treatment and recovery.
Jonathan began his career as a House Manager and Behavioral Health Technician, working directly with individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges. He later advanced into leadership roles as a Program Supervisor and Program Manager at a behavioral health and addiction treatment facility in Orange County.
As Director of Case Management, Jonathan helps support coordination of care and the broader needs that can arise throughout the treatment process. He is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC-II) and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). Originally from Oahu, Hawai’i, Jonathan continues to expand his professional knowledge while remaining focused on connection, accountability, and helping clients build a strong foundation for recovery.
