Drake Coomer serves as Chief Operating Officer of Detox California, helping lead the day-to-day operations, growth, and continued development of the organization’s addiction treatment programs. With more than six years of experience in behavioral healthcare, he has built a strong background in program leadership, operational oversight, and creating treatment environments centered on the needs of each client.
A Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC II), Drake brings both professional training and firsthand industry experience to his leadership role. After relocating from Kentucky to California to continue building his career in addiction treatment, he became increasingly involved in helping programs strengthen their clinical standards, internal systems, and overall client experience.
At Detox California, Drake is focused on supporting teams, maintaining a high standard of care, and creating an environment where clients can feel supported throughout the recovery process. His leadership has also contributed to stronger alumni connections and a culture that prioritizes accountability, compassion, and long-term recovery.
